Our basketball courts are synthetic and built according to international standards. Our equipment gets regularly upgraded so that students never miss out. We follow proper maintenance protocols and keep emergency medical kits handy to ensure the safety of our budding champions. For us, our students are our topmost priority.
Basketball is a complex sport that requires effective communication and coordination skills. It is also a demanding sport, which means our students need muscle power. Fortunately, we have facilities for both of these requirements.
At IIG Sports Academy, we do not expect students to know everything beforehand and begin by refining their basic skills and slowly move towards building them as a group. Once we believe students have confidence in their abilities, we teach them to be team players.
For teamwork, basketball has many specific strategies like boxing out, rebounds, layups, etc. All these will be taught to each team, and every student will learn both defensive and offensive types of play. Players will also be taught adaptability to be valuable members of any future team and coordinate with new players. So by the end of our training, a student will be a star player not just on their own, but also a reliable and pivotal member of their team.
Basketball in India is organised into many tournaments at every level. It is played professionally at high school, college, state level, etc. Some famous championships in India include North Zone All India Inter-University Championship (Women), South Zone All India Inter-University Championship, All India Railway Men's Basketball Championship, and many more.

Our sports facilities feature a remarkably functional design, comfortable user facilities, and the ability to expand per needs. In addition to that, the infrastructure is equipped with all the requirements to host national and international level sporting events.
