Billiards is a sophisticated sport with immense popularity all over the world. It was brought to India in the late 19th century by British officers. Since then, players like Michael Ferreira, Geet Sethi, and Pankaj Advani have made many strides in this sport in international tournaments. IIG Sports Academy also attempts to add a name to this prestigious list!

The Billiard and Snooker Federation of India is the governing body of this sport. They host many tournaments (National Billiards and Snooker Championships) and even hosted the World Billiards Championship for a few years. Besides domestic tournaments, they also take national trials.
